New Year
Tuesday, January 1, 2013 / 9:11 PM ♥
If every year of our lives is a mountain we need to ascend, 2012 was one hell of a climb. Plagued with endless adversities and prevailing resistances, the past year (though incredibly memorable) was nothing short of a challenge. Nonetheless, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - these tough times served to better position us to tackle greater threats and brave stormier seas. Come 2013, lets find the determination within ourselves to put aside any emotional baggage and persevere on with our chin up; seek to correct old mistakes and have the courage to admit to new ones; bear in mind the importance to constantly express our appreciation and gratitude, and not to take the people & blessed moments around us for granted; be sensitive to those struggling around us and celebrate the achievements of those who found well-deserved success; never hesitate to extend a helping hand, or to ask for help; to allow ourselves to let loose and be happy, whilst not fearing to reveal sorrow and pain; be generous, empathetic and accepting; and finally, have the courage to be true and honest to both ourselves, and those around us. Hereby lets celebrate the start to a new year: cheers to renewal and remembrance!

Profile
Welcome to my little space of neurotic ramblings and hilariously futile attempts to cope with my feelings like a mature individual should. You may laugh/empathize (preferably the latter).
I use the semi-colon too much; am I even using it correctly?
